Safety Respirator Set works by either filtering particles from the air, chemically purifying the air, or supplying clean air from an outside source. In gas respirators, the respirator cartridges remove gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other vapors from the air through adsorption, absorption, or chemisorption. A respirator cartridge provides acid gas protection in a variety of environments. In conjunction with an approved respirator, this respirator cartridge helps provide respiratory protection from chlorine, hydrogen, chloride, sulfur dioxide, chlorine dioxide, or hydrogen sulfide.
